Figures in Motion

Figure in motion, charcoal on gesso'd watercolor paper.

Figure No. 2 in motion.  Figure No. 1 slightly gesso'd out and then No. 2 added on top of the wet gesso.

Figure No. 3, done same as No. 2.  I may have enough space to add another figure.  Taken from Muybridge's photo series of back side shots of a nude male throwing a ball.

WIP - Hands

More hand prints.  It is sooooooo unbelievably hot and dry here, normally we have a humidity level around 50% or higher this time of year, which is causing problems with drying times.  Problems as in everything is drying within minutes, sometimes seconds, making it difficult to work the cloth.

Waiting

... on gesso to dry, after this layer has dried I'll apply a final layer of gesso. 

Liquidtex White Ink

I put it through a spray bottle but it's really chalky, am wondering if it's permanent on fabric or not???

I noticed it has the consistancy of gesso.

Mini Canvas'

3x5 inch gessoed canvas with an alcohol transferred image.

Second coat of gesso, this time over the image transfer.  Once the gesso is dry I'll paint an image to go with the carrot.
