The weather is supposed to be gorgeous here this week, so starting tomorrow I'll be setting up indigo vats and will dye some silk velvet fabric (silk rayon blend), silk ribbons, silk fabric, cotton fabric, and the like. I need to sort my natural dyes and see what I have that's still viable for over dyeing the indigo.

Cleaning didn’t happen today, I had a pretty severe asthma attack that required a breathing treatment. I am feeling better now and am considering taking a silk paper pod apart that I made back in the 90’s. If I do so I’ll be sure to post photos of the pod pre and post disassembly.
My fresh picked marigold flowers are resting on a piece of parchment paper and I will place them in my toaster oven on warm. In a couple of hours they will be dried enough to add to a gallon of warm water.
