Pets From Hell Etc..

Today is probably going to be one of those days. And I'm not pleased with the pets so far. I have a tabby cat who is currently shredding a reem of paper for no other reason than he can.
The dogs are a pain in the ass, as always.

And both of my cameras are giving me fits this morning. The Nikon refuses to work, period, giving me some error message. I'm sure this will entail hundreds of dollars to fix. And the digital refuses to store more than 15 images, when the disc holds 100+ images.

And who the hell peed on my floor again!?#$&* Ahhhhhhhhhh the wonders of pet ownership!

Did I mention Picasa won't load images this morning? So your going to have to take my word for it when I say the sunrise was befitting of an angelic choir.

A Fairy Ring in my front yard. It would have been much bigger but I mowed the lawn last week. In doing so the west half of the ring was mowed under. It developed before the eastern half did, so it did have time to spore. 

Look a Gourd, finally! This one may actually make it to become an actual gourd. I planted four varieties of gourds. I have lots of blossoms but haven't seen any tiny gourds yet.

This weekend

I'm not sure but I think I"m making relish and bread and butter pickles this weekend.

Otherwise I'm dedicating it to dyeing fabrics and fibers, it's gorgeous out, and studio time. I'm thinking some spinning - that's on the menu for tonight - some jewelry making, I finally got the obstruction out of that piece of turquoise I've been wanting to use, and some stitching, more post cards, mini quilts and the like.

And lately I've had a yen for knitting again, it's that time of year, time to think about making socks, hats and mittens again. I'm wanting a new scarf, so plan to spin up something beautiful for a lacey shawl and or scarf.

See the silver looking thing on the right of the black box, it looks like a piston. 

The back of the macine, that little box that I thought was a motor is for the treadle apparently. There's a piston looking thing on the right end of the box.
